Which profile picture extensions does SCLogin of JFBC work with? This is not clear from the docs I have read. I want to be able to offer profile picture functionality for my Joomla users and my FB users. How do I get the Joomla profile picture to work?

Thanks,
Paul.

The SCLogin module can load the profile picture from JomSocial, Kunena, EasySocial, Community Builder and one or two others I can't think of right now. If you have JFBConnect installed for social network integration, the SCLogin module can also show the user's social avatar.

I hope that helps answer your question, but if you can't get the avatar to show, let me know what extension you're using that you want to pull the avatar from.

Thanks,
Alex

I tried to use this extension (extensions.joomla.org/extensions/clients...ser-management/19702) but it does not seem to function properly on J3.3, I basically just want a photo for the user. I could install Jomsocial but that seems like overkill.

Is SCLogin supposed to work with Profile Picture referred to above.

Thanks,
Paul.

We don't have built-in support for that extension. We support the major profile extensions that I listed above. Please note that the SCLogin module simply shows the current user's image, it doesn't show the image of any other users. It's good as a reassurance that the user is actually logged in, but doesn't serve any purpose beyond that. That's why we integrate with full profile extensions, which add additional features like communities to your site.

If the only reason you want to store an image of a user is to show it back to that user, it's likely not going to be worth it for any users to upload their avatar in the first place.

I hope that helps answer your question,
Alex
