Registration form in modal window was created by róbkis

Is there a way to make the registration form stay in the modal window and not to open a new page?

Using:
Joomla 3.2.4
Default Joomla user manager
JFBConnect 6.0.6
SCLogin 4.0.6

Not yet. We're planning to add a registration popup view in an update to the SCLogin module later this year. Until then, the SCLogin module will redirect the user to the standard Joomla registration page (or whatever other 3rd party registration component you have enabled).
