On the EasySocial registration page, SCLogin is not working. It works perfectly on all other pages, but on this page, you click the Log in button and it just reloads the same page.

I tried turning the Load JQuery setting on, but this didn't make any difference. I need it to work on that page in case somebody clicks the register link (instead of Log in) by mistake!

My immediate suggestion is to try disabling any caching you may have enabled on your site in the Global Configuration area of Joomla and test that way. That will narrow down a lot of possible issues.

Beyond that, your site looks offline at the moment. If the above doesn't make things work, can you make it online (or PM me admin credentials so we can)? Also, if you have a test account, that will help us get in quicker to test (something like test/test as a registered user to login).

Let me know, and we'll gladly help investigate.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the Private Message with credentials. I just got in to look around, and don't have much good news. I tried quite a few different things but couldn't deteremine the cause of the problem. Next, I created an instance of the mod_login module (the default Joomla login module). That module also doesn't work on the page you mentioned.

So, I'm not sure what's happening there, but it's not specific to the SCLogin module. It seems any posts aren't working on that page, but I'm not sure why.

I hope that helps you narrow some things down, and sorry I don't have a more specific answer for you.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you so much Alex, that actually helps a lot. I will ask the gus at Stackideas to have a look, as that is an EasySocial specify menu type.

Thanks for taking the time to help out.

No problem. Let me know what you find. If there is something that we should be doing differently in the SCLogin module, we gladly will. When it's not working in the mod_login module though, it seems like something larger than just our module.

Thanks,
Alex
