That's not an issue that's been reported before. Can you let us know how the language selection is happening on your site? Are you using the Joomla language switcher to detect the user's language, letting the user choose, or something else? Any information you can provide on how the initial language is displayed versus the 2 factor authentication one will help us narrow things down.
