Modal popup

The problem from that thread was how the SCLogin module was being added to the page. She was also using the NoNumbers Modules Anywhere plugin to add it to the page, but hadn't set the menu assignment/position correctly, so the Javascript necessary for the popup was not being inserted into the page correctly. You mention you are also using Modules Anywhere - could you verify the menu assignment and position in your instance of SCLogin is set to a position and to display on All pages?

When our JQuery option is enabled
* Is the jq-bootstrap-1.8.3.js file included in the page source?
* When you click the button to launch the modal, are there any errors on the console? Use Chrome's developers tools to easily see any javascript errors that may be happening.

When the jQuery option is disabled
* Are there any errors on the consoles for the pages that the modal is not showing up for?
* The modal showing up but having the black/dark coloring is usually a CSS conflict with the template. I'd again use developer tools to explore the styles for the modal and see if something is getting overridden from the template. You'll probably have to add some styles to fix this.

These answers should help us start to narrow down the issue.
