Hi Guys

I love the User Menu feature in SCLogin! It's exactly what I am looking for, and I plan to integrate it with SCFConnect. Right now, I am having an issue with the drop-down mode. When I point the mouse to the drop down user menu, nothing happens and I see "Go to # on this page" message displayed at the bottom of my browser. The "List" mode works, but it completely ruins the look so it's not an option.

There are several thread on the forum related to this topic, but none seems to be pertinent to my case. I am currently using Yootheme Mustache template w/ Warp framework 7. I did not explicitly load jQuery within SCLogin.

One last thing, it would be great to have a little video tutorial of how you create the user menu and social connect in the login module on your web site.

Thank you for your help.

regards,
SH

Please try the "Include jQuery / Bootstrap" setting *in JFBConnect* (the one in SCLogin does nothing if JFBConnect is installed) and see if that helps. It's a special version of jQuery and Bootstrap that gets around many conflicts that can occur in various templates and with many extensions. Ideally, if your site loads jQuery / Bootstrap already, you don't need it.. but let's try that setting first.

As for the Logout and Social Network connection features in the user menu, we don't have a video, but we do have a Common Question (FAQ) answer for that:

It's the 3rd and 4th question. I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

Thank you for your pointed assistance. The drop down User Menu in SCLogin works perfectly with JFBConnect. And I got Logout rolled into the SCLogin User Menu too, very happy about that.

Just one little styling issue, where can I find SCLogin's CSS so I can line the avatar, SCLogin and FB Connect all on one row? Also, I haven't found the switch that would disable the message "Connect Your Site to Social Network?", any advise on where to disable that message?

The CSS files that we package with SCLogin are in /media/sourcecoast/themes/sclogin/ directory. There are two files that we installed automatically, default.css and sourcecoast.css. Whatever you set the "Theme" option to will determine which one is used. If you are going to customize the CSS, we'd suggest creating a theme override. For full details on how to do this, see the steps at www.sourcecoast.com/sclogin/documentation/themes

The option to turn off the connect to other social networks can be found in SCLogin > Logout View Settings tab > 'Show Connect Account Button(s)' option.
