Hi !

At the moment im sitting with a page that has go-live at the first of march.

Ive finally gotten the JFBC comments to show, but it shows both K2 and JFBC. Ive tried a large number of things mentioned on this forum, but it will not seem to work.

Im quite shure it is a smalle parameter im overlooking.

As you can see. It will first load the FB comments - Correct.

Next. It loads the K2 comments, on the same container. <-- I want that removed, so the only thing possible, is FB comments ( as you log in to the site with fb anyways )

Have tried almost anything....

Site is open now. Try to look at an article view.

Ive tested with the Like / share plugin for k2.

This also just shows double - What i want is to replace the k2 comments and k2 like/share with the JFBC Connect plugins.

What to do ?

In the K2 admin area, you'll want to go into the Category for your K2 Items. In the Item View Settings area, there is an option to disable the Facebook Like button (and other social sharing options).

For Comments, I don't think K2 has a built-in Facebook Comment widget. My guess is that you have another plugin running that is adding the Facebook comments to K2 content, but I'm not sure about that. In the Item View Options area, above, there is an option for "Comments". Disabling that *may* work, but I'm not sure.

I hope that helps get you going,
Alex

Hi Alex.

Thanks, that solved the problem with the like buttons. Disabled in K2 still makes them show in K2 items. - Perfect.

The comment module showing is K2 - If i disable, the JFBC Comments dissapear - That makes sence because i added the HTML property {JFBCComments} in k2 comments setting "Comment form notes (HTML allowed)" Picture attached.

That was the only way i could get the facebook integration showing on the pages. If i remove the tag, it will only show K2 Comments.

If i Disable comments in k2 and activate the JFBComments module, nothing happens - I have configured the categories that it should show up in - In JFBC configuration - under Content Plugin - K2 Comments.

Im lost in ideas.

Hehe.. glad you got it going. Should you run into anything else or have any suggestions on how to improve things, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
